As climate change intensifies, the urgency to build resilient, regenerative, equitable, and inclusive food systems grows. This panel will explore how to climate-proof food systems to ensure food security in an increasingly volatile world. Our panelists bring diverse expertise to this critical conversation, covering circular economy frameworks, systems innovation, and policy reform.

Lara Ramdin, Chief Scientist at FoodxClimate, will discuss product and packaging innovation for global nutrition and sustainability. Amanda Oenbring, CEO of the Upcycled Food Association, will offer insights on how food companies are adapting supply chains and reducing food waste through upcycling. Michelle Tulac from the Ellen MacArthur Foundation will share strategies for embedding circular design principles into the food economy. Anya Obrez, Advocacy Associate or Food Waste, Nature at Natural Resources Defense Council, will highlight the intersection of climate justice, food waste policy, and equitable access. Together, they will address how industry, policy, and community action can converge to future-proof food, close the loop on waste, water, and nutrition, and ensure resilience strategies uplift vulnerable communities first.
